Meet Jessica: Our Totsy Survey Winner!

We would like to thank all of those who filled out the Totsy Holiday Toy Survey! We asked our members to fill out a brief survey about toys to better understand the needs of our customers. The feedback of our members means a lot to us and will shape the future of the products we provide! A big congratulations to Jennifer, who was chosen as the survey winner! Here are some fun facts about Jennifer.

1)      What was your favorite childhood toy?

My favorite toys as a child were Playmobil (my siblings and I had insane amounts of it!) and the “make-believe” type of toys: dress-up clothes, doctor kits, random hats and accessories, art supplies, etc.  Second favorite would probably be books, but I guess those weren’t really toys.

2)      What is your child(ren) favorite toy?

My 2-year-old daughter spends equal time playing with her Playmobil 1-2-3 barn/farm toys and her kitchen set.  She has started creating rather elaborate scenarios on the farm, and with her kitchen set, she loves to pretend to cook and bake her own favorite foods—mostly oatmeal scotchies!

3)      What is your favorite toy brand?

Playmobil!  There are so many options, sets, and accessories, it’s much more widely available, and they are very sturdy toys that hold up to all sorts of roughhousing.

4)      If you have some Totsy products, what is your favorite item?

I’m rather new to Totsy and with some budgetary concerns we didn’t expect this year, I hadn’t been able to purchase anything yet.  That will sure change in the near future!  With a strict budged and a toddler growing like a weed, this has been a huge blessing!

5)      What is your favorite holiday dish

Figgy Pudding!  I found a recipe online a few years ago and the stuff is amazing.  No wonder people wouldn’t go until they got some, according to the song!  It’s really rich and complicated to make, though, so we only have it at Christmas time.

6)      What are your New Year’s Resolutions?

For me, New Year’s Resolutions are a good way to set myself up for failure, so I try to think about the positive changes that happened gradually over the past year and make sure to keep them up next year.  One never knows what life will bring, so I try to focus on rolling with the punches rather than start all over every year.

Stay tuned for future surveys and a chance to win BIG at Totsy! We hope everyone has a wonderful New Years!
